Solve the cold air problem, don't put a band-aid on it

Today I am in bed sick. My husband has positioned a never-ending cup of tea on the nightstand and a garbage can to contain the growing mound of tissues that are catching all the sneezes, coughs and sniffles.

You can still be comfortable in your sickbed without all the fleece bandaids!Deciding to spend the day working at a sick-day pace in bed, I thought, "Oh, I should have one of those blanket contraptions!" Then I considered the adult-sized fleece blanket sleepers I saw on a commercial recently - although I can't imagine wearing one of those things for any length of time or letting anyone see me in it. I'll admit it was the vision of a sick person.

Coming out of the haze of a blurred mind, I caught myself.

Why in the world do we consistently put band-aids on problems rather than solve them? Here are people all over wrapping up in these products because it's too cold in their house or because there's a draft. I mean they aren't even ill.

The airflow Breeze Ultra even comes with a remote so it can be adjusted from anywhere. For less than it would cost to outfit the entire family in a set of all that fleecy goodness, a homeowner could install an AirFlow Breeze register vent booster fan. The fan pulls the warmed air that would be left in the ducts into the room and circulates it in the room to improve the temperature and eliminate those blasted cold spots. There is no need to wrap up in anything to stay comfy and cozy, and it doesn't have to be washed and dried!

Because there is more warmed air in the room, the temperature stays more comfortable longer, which means the furnace doesn't turn on as often, which saves energy and money.

So, here I am sick, contemplating bandaids when I look over to see the AirFlow working nicely and realize I don't need a bandaid. I have a solution already working away!

The AirFlow Breeze register vent booster fan comes in a wide variety of models, sizes and colors to fit most all vent openings including baseboard registers. The selection of colors means that there is no jolt to the decor as it will blend inconspicuously into the background doing the job of the workhorse it is.
