Today I am in bed sick. My husband has positioned a never-ending cup of tea on the nightstand and a garbage can to contain the growing mound of tissues that are catching all the sneezes, coughs and sniffles.
Deciding to spend the day working at a sick-day pace in bed, I thought, "Oh, I should have one of those blanket contraptions!" Then I considered the adult-sized fleece blanket sleepers I saw on a commercial recently - although I can't imagine wearing one of those things for any length of time or letting anyone see me in it. I'll admit it was the vision of a sick person.
Coming out of the haze of a blurred mind, I caught myself.
Why in the world do we consistently put band-aids on problems rather than solve them? Here are people all over wrapping up in these products because it's too cold in their house or because there's a draft. I mean they aren't even ill.
For less than it would cost to outfit the entire family in a set of all that fleecy goodness, a homeowner could install an AirFlow Breeze register vent booster fan.
